Thomas Rowlinson

June 1, 1922 — August 11, 2008

ROWLINSON, Thomas (Ted) Edwin After a prolonged struggle with cancer, Ted entered peacefully into the kingdom of light on the 11th day of August. His iron determination to live was at last overcome by the implacable advance of his illness. Ted, a British W.W. 2 veteran and prisoner of war camp survivor, was a man of unwavering integrity, artistic ability, and Christian commitment. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol, daughter Mary Lou (Carl), and in England a sister Betty. Bereft as well are stepsons Scott Farnham, Stephen Farnham (Julie), and grandchildren Gregory, David, Isabelle, and Sebastien. A celebration of Ted's life will be held on Monday, August 18th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Bracebridge United Church. If desired, memorial gifts to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
