We are saddened to announce the passing of Tina Caughey. Daughter of Rodney and Judy Caughey, sister to Gwen Holmes (Alan) and Colleen Caughey (Gary). Beloved aunt of Karlee, Jeryht, Nygel, Amii, Deyon and Shaye, all of whom she loved deeply as her own. Losing a life like Tina’s is without question a tragedy, but the suffering she endured daily was far worse. After a two-year struggle with mental illness, Tina lost her battle in her home on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019. A hard-worker known to many as the glittering face of Shine and the bright smile of McDonalds in Bracebridge, she was a bright and creative light who left a little sparkle everywhere she went. Tina was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of many, and loved by the town and her community. Through her infinite struggle, she remained loyal to her friends and family, which is a true testament to the strength of her soul. Our lovely Tina is now at peace with her grandmother, Viola Huggard and her beloved dogs, Max and Isla. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of many. A Celebration of Life will be held in late January for her 50th Birthday, details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the OSPCA Muskoka Region or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be given at www.reynoldsfuneral.com.
