SWAN, Vera Catherine "Judy" Peacefully at Castle Peak Retirement Residence, with family by her side, on Saturday, November 30, 2013, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Swan. Loving mother of Doreen Cowan (Ken), Connie Zator (Marvin), Edward ‘Ted' Swan (June) and Glenn Swan (Debbie). Proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 15. Predeceased by her brother Russell ‘Ted' Haines. Judy "Vera" will always be remembered fondly by her many family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
