SLATER, Whitney James Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26th, 2014 at Leisureworld Muskoka in Gravenhurst in his 93rd year. Loving son of the late James and Frances (nee Quinton) Slater of Ullswater. Pre-deceased by his sibings Bill, Edna, Elsie, Mable, Elizabeth, Margaret, Jack, Herb, Charlie and Vi, Also pre-deceased by nieces and nephews Leonard, Linda, and Allan. Survived by nieces and nephews; Morley (Marilyn), Bill, Bradley (Sharon), Darlene, Bob (Christie) and Brenda (Rodney). Also survived by Linda's husband Harvey and Allan's wife Linda. Whitney will be missed by many other nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Ullswater Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.
