Wilhelm Joseph Mueller - Obituary (Born: March 19th, 1928 - Died: July 2nd, 2014) Wilhelm (Bill) was born in Germany, to Karl & Maria Mueller, he was born second of five children. After surviving the War, where thankfully he was too young to serve, he immigrated to Canada in 1956 in search of a new life for him and his young family. In 1957 his wife Veronika and their two daughters soon joined him in Canada. He found work in the gold mines in Northern Ontario, and eventually he settled in the Muskoka Region. He was a hard worker all his life. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour. He loved to make jokes and share laughter with family and friends. He was a good sport and was always willing to "ham it up" or act silly to make us laugh. Coincidentally, we are hard-pressed to find any photographs where he isn't sticking his tongue out at the camera. Many of his family have fond memories of activities where he would often say "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!" He was a lot of things, but boring was not one of them. Wilhelm (Bill) Mueller passed away peacefully in his home on July 2, 2014. He is survived by his brother named Manfred Mueller (Manuela), and his two sisters Irmtraud Mayweg (Siegfried) and Maria Jochmann (Phillip). He will be missed by his four daughters Veronica Philpott (Dan), Doris Mueller, Susie Brown (Perry), Heidi Mueller-McCahon (Mike), his grandchildren; Erika MacInnis (Neil), Jason Mathias, John Stillwell, Toni McGloin (Sean), April Wolanski (Reece), Jen Brown (Travis), Daniel Philpott, Hayden McCahon and Teagan McCahon, and his Great Grandchildren; Mitchell Crowder, Tyson MacInnis, Rachael MacInnis, Jacob MacInnis, Rowan Wolanski. He will be dearly missed by longtime friend Mary Cardella. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Dorothea, and his beloved Granddaughter, Marlee Philpott. A Celebration of Life gathering for Family and Friends will be held on Monday July 7th from 1pm-4pm at the "Parlour Room" at McVittie Place, 102 Pine Street, Bracebridge, ON.
