We are saddened to share the news of Bill’s death on September 15th, 2024 at Andy’s House Hospice in Port Carling, Muskoka. He was in his 63rd year.
Bill was the most loved son of Missy and Harry Collier of St. Catharines, and the dear brother of Carrie Trueland (Jim) of Burlington and Jennifer Fidanza (Sege) of Lockport NY.
Bill is survived by his daughter Amy (Brandon) Stokes, and his son Will (Anna) Collier, their mother Krista Haiduk Collier, and his nieces and nephews.
In more recent years, Bill and his cherished partner, Faye Anderson shared their home on Three Mile Lake. Faye’s family, her daughter Riley, her sons Ethan and Gavin, especially her grandchildren, who called him Papa Bill, will miss him dearly.
Bill was born in St. Catharines and grew up among a close family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was part of a unique group of Bridge Club kids, who have shared so much together.
Bill's love of nature took him all over the world with guitar and fishing gear in hand. Summers at the family cottage on Otter Lake, with another extended group of friends, led him to settle nearby in Bracebridge where he established his business, Collier Construction.
Over the last few years, he and Faye loved wintering in Mexico, fishing, and enjoying new friendships.
Much like his fishing gear, his beloved dogs were always near.
Bill's sense of humor, passion for music, love of family and friends, and zest for life, will never be forgotten.
Gone too soon.
