MacAskill, William Alexander Stanley Bill passed away at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary and the late Sadie. Loving father of Heather Rutherford and Gayle Reid. Proud grandfather of Melanie Singh, Scott Reid, Kenneth Grey, Cassandra Rutherford and Willow Rutherford. Dear brother of Barbara Heathcote and the late Jean Specht & Joan Groh. Bill is predeceased by son-in-law Mark Rutherford. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' on Saturday, March 9, 2013 for services conducted by the Bracebridge Lion's Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 161. The funeral will be held Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be preferred by the family.
