William Shannon

SHANNON, William Hargrave Passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, in his 90th year. William, a veteran of World War II and a member of the 48th Highlanders, was predeceased by his first wife Annabelle Shannon and second wife Marian Brown. He is survived by his children David, Robert, Elizabeth & Rosemary. He is the proud grandfather of Shannon, Matthew, Caledonia, Kari, Alberta, Colin, William, Zoe Brown, and Sarah Reynolds and great grandfather of Ben, Jack & Zach. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' of Bracebridge.
