Winnifred Hooton

Winnifred Catherine Hooton died peacefully at her home in Bracebridge with her family at her side on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at the age of 102 year. Beloved wife of the late George Hooton. Loving mother of Beverley Bullen (Robert). Dear grandmother of Christopher Bullen (Julie), Elizabeth Lee Farkas (Michael) and Cheryl Bullen-Katz (Eric). Great grandmother of Kaitlyn, Jennifer, Kitchener Bullen, Nicole, Samantha Farkas and great great grandmother of Logan. Sister of the late Archdeacon Kenneth Rutter. She was an active member of St Thomas Anglican Church for many years, doing many volunteer jobs. A life member of the A.C.W., and the Rebekah Lodge holding many offices. She had a keen memory and at 102 could still answer all our questions. She was kind, generous and always spoke well of everyone. A wonderful mom, grandparent and friend. She will be sadly missed. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The service will be held at St Thomas Anglican Church in Bracebridge on Friday, August 19th, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Interment St Thomas Anglican Church in Bracebridge. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St Thomas Anglican Church
